Powder Paints, All the Advantages !

Important: Painting metals with electrostatic powder paints is carried out in designated dyehouses. This is an automated process without any human intervention, the metal parts are carried on a conveyer belt to all stages of this industrial, controlled and automatic process (preparation - chemical or mechanic cleaning, dusting with electrostatic powder paint, heating in the oven). The resulting color is uniform and impressive (without any spots of paint) and a thickness of over 80 microns may be achieved in one application.

Innovative Development - Anti-Bacterial Paint - Kills Bacteria and Prevents the Spread of Disease Incredible innovative development by Univercol: anti-bacterial paint for application in painting systems using electrostatic powder paints. This innovative development enables the destruction of bacteria and the prevention of the spread of bacteria which once could not be destroyed without disinfection or preventative treatment. Anti-bacterial paint offers a complete, effective and ideal solution to equipment, furniture, and facilities in clinics, hospitals, public places or sterile rooms. The application process of the anti-bacterial paint in the dyehouse is an industrial, controlled and automatic process identical to the application process of powder paints (preparation - chemical or mechanic cleaning, dusting with electrostatic powder paint, heating in the oven). This new development approved by the FDA regulations affecting food and beverages, has proven to be highly effective, in preventing the spread of disease and in destroying dangerous bacteria, such as e-coli, poultry flu, swine flu, salmonella, pneumonia, and others. In order to achieve a result of a paint that is capable of destroying bacteria and preventing the spread of disease, Univercol labs devised a process whereby silver ions are released equivalently and completely on the entire thickness of the coating. This is how the silver ions destroy nearly 100% of the bacteria accumulated on the surface. The Development Dept. has indicated that the effectiveness of this material has been proven in independent trials and lab tests. It is important to add that the new paint is long-lasting and is manufactured in any hue, gloss or texture included in Univercol's range of powder coatings.

Univercol Products Are All Green Label Certified Univercol is the first and only company in Israel (among powder coatings manufacturers) to receive Green Label certification from the Standards Institute. Univercol has recently completed a process with the Israeli Standards Institute whereby the Green Label certification has been granted to its entire range of products. This Green Label constitutes recognition of the company's noteworthy and ongoing activity to protect the environment.
